Our Vision
Sisters With Faith Ministries is God’s vision co-founded by Diana Walker and Wenda Compton. Created for women of all ethnicities and backgrounds who are in search of a safe place of radical love, support, and sisterhood that is immersed in God’s word to impact their own lives and the world they live in.
We began in January 2016 with a God-inspired question from Wenda to Diana: “If you could do anything, and money was not an issue, what would it be?” Diana’s response was to facilitate women’s ministry. After Diana left that day, God told Wenda to offer her home indefinitely for ministry meetings, and our monthly meetings began in Wenda’s living room shortly thereafter.
In 2021, we decided to select a name for the ministry that reflects who we are and how we reflect God’s love - as sisters. The following year God blessed us with a meeting location in Culver City, California that has offered a warm and spacious setting to accommodate more women as we grow.
With our growth, we have continued to host our monthly meetings in person and via Zoom to reach women internationally. We have also incorporated programs and events such as community outreach activities, our Adopt-A-Sister Program, and an annual women’s retreat. As the Lord leads, we are working on new endeavors including a health and wellness program, podcast, and Writing Boot Camp. We currently have plans to open a branch of the ministry in Las Vegas, Nevada.
